Skin Cancer Image Viewer™
Using a cell phone or a computer, you can view skin cancer images from
multiple credible Web sites (National Cancer Institute, skin cancer
databases, universities). Each mouse click (or button click on a cell phone)
presents a new high quality skin cancer image, selected at random from these
Web sites. The system remembers which images have been viewed (even after
you close the browser), so only new images are displayed every time the Skin
Cancer Image Viewer is used. Using the Skin Cancer Image Viewer can be
helpful to people with dysplastic nevus syndrome and others who would like
to learn what skin cancer looks like. Individuals with dysplastic nevus
syndrome may have hundreds of moles and it is important for them to monitor
the moles for changes as well as know if any moles show similarity to skin
cancer.
